Our usual services are:

West Mersea Church offers services each Sunday: at 8:00am and 10:00am, as well as a mid-week, Holy Communion, or Morning Prayer service, at 10:00am on Wednesdays, and some evening services. During Covid restrictions, the 10:00am Sunday service is held both in church and online, via Zoom, as a service of United Worship. Please email us to receive the link to our Zoom services.

East Mersea Church holds a service at 9.30am each Sunday, alternating between Holy Communion and Matins.

Peldon Church holds a regular Sunday service at 11am each week, alternating between Holy Communion and Matins/Cafe Church.

Great Wigborough Church holds services at 9.30am on Sundays from the 2nd Sunday in each month, again alternating between Holy Communion and Matins.

Little Wigborough Church is closed and, owing to severe, structural building damage will be deconsecrated.

Regular Services

We hold regular church services in all our churches including: Holy Communion, Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer, as well as special services at major festivals. Please see our individual church pages for information.

Learning and Discipleship

We believe that Christianity is a journey of discovery. Once we have been freed from the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic, under the fresh leadership of Revd. Jude Bevan, we again, intend to offer teaching and resources to people at every stage in their journey of faith. There are a number of House Groups which will take place on a weekly basis.

Social Life

Our parishes offer a wealth of social activities to our congregations and parishioners. Suppers, quizzes, singing groups, choirs, walking events and much more. Our individual church pages have lots more information. For larger events see below.
